Aap Order Karo ("we", "us", "our") provides WhatsApp-based order automation software for small retail businesses in India. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with.
From business owners (our customers): When you sign up, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, business address, and any staff/employee accounts you create. We also store your product catalog, order history, and settings you configure.
From your customers (end consumers): When someone messages your business on WhatsApp to place an order, we process the content of that message (text or voice note), their name, phone number, and delivery address, solely to convert it into a structured order on your behalf. We do not use this information for any purpose beyond fulfilling that function for you.
We rely on a small number of third-party providers to operate the service:
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data passed to them.
We retain order and customer data for as long as your account remains active, so you can access your own order history and analytics. If you close your account, we will delete your business data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain it for legal or accounting reasons.
We take reasonable technical measures to protect the data in our systems, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and you should take reasonable precautions with your own account credentials.
You can request a copy of the data we hold about your business, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us at the email below. If you're a customer of one of our business users (i.e. you've ordered from a shop using Aap Order Karo), please contact that business directly, since they control their own customer data — we act only as their service provider.
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do.
